Default New Lexus Model Prototype Spotted?

This came across my YouTube feed and I had to share it with you guys.
It looks like a new Lexus prototype, right?

LF-NX concept was shown i while ago. Probably a mule for the upcoming NX-series.
The steering wheel, wiper stalk and dashboard dials is the same as the new IS.

It bears no resemblance to the extremely edgy LF-NX, with not even a hint of a spindle grille, but the taped badge on the steering wheel does clearly show the Lexus logo, so maybe it's an early prototype with a RAV4 shell but an NX interior.

Since it's a mule, it uses the body of another car. Probably a RAV4. But the drivetrain is Lexus.

whats the point of ducked taping a mule shell? It just draws more attention I think. Unless, it is the real deal then it makes perfect sense.

If Lexus puts the L-badge on a RAV4, they'll lose a LOT of luxury credibility.
The body on this car is 100% RAV4.

You may be right but we just bought a 2014 RX350 and were really looking for something a bit smaller with the Lexus luxury features. I hope to something in that direction develop over the next several years.
