Squealing Sound When Braking On 2000 RX300 AWD
Hello,
I changed my all my brake pads back in April 2013 and replaced all four rotors a couple months later. Recently, within past few weeks, I hear really loud squealing noises whenever I press on my brakes. It occurs when I've been driving for a while and after the car is warmed up to operating temperature. I hear it even when I press the brakes at 15 MPH. In the mornings when I go to work, I don't hear it as much. I was thinking of cleaning the pads with brake cleaner and then spraying/laying on a new coat of disk brake quiet but before I do, I wanted to know what your thoughts were.
Thank you in advance for your input.

I was able to locate some information regarding a break squeal noise for the RX 300 2WD and 4WD models. The information is as follows:
TSIB- BR001-01 RX 300 ('99-'00)
VIN Range: (2WD) – JT6GF10U#X0023881 and below (4WD) – JT6HF10U#X0049308 and below
Warranty Coverage: Basic Warranty 4 years or 50,000 miles
To reduce brake squeal noise which may occur during brake application while backing
up and/or while turning, the front brake disc rotor, anti-squeal shim and pad support
plates have been modified.
If you would like more information on this, we suggest getting in contact with your dealer. They would be able to inspect your vehicle and determine if there are repair options for your vehicle.
