Hello Iv been searching the internet and have not found the information needed or it was too buried in the forums.
If one buys a used fob with matching FCC ID original and it was programmed to another car it will not be able to be used in conjunction with the standard bootleg techstream software protocol.
I think the ECU must be relearned or something and it will require a seed code which requires a genuine subscription to TIS.
My question
Is there a way to clear the smart fob?
Reprogram the EEprom?

It uses a Texas Instruments Chip

I was hopeing it was simple as reading chip and changing some values?
if anyone with extra knowledge can shed light to this?

If anything i may take my original and copy all values and replace on the used chip?
Which might seem illegal because you might not be able to change some values and Mac or IMEI addresess legal and this is for educational and research purposes only and i do not condone any illegal activity.
