Default How much to get a replacement key fob?

I'm almost afraid to even ask this question, but I may have lost one of my key fobs and if I did, I'll need to get a replacement. How much will this cost me?

Since you lost it, you might want to think about changing the code for the keyfob as well. Try ebay or the CL vendors.

If I did indeed loose it, it would have been lost far from where I drive my car. I did look on ebay and so some used ones going for $50 or so. Any idea how much it would cost to get one of those reprogrammed by the dealer?

Well, I called the dealer and it's only $20 plus tax to reprogram a key fob. They also sell key fobs for $320 but I'll be passing on that and will get a $50 one on ebay.

One other question... If I buy a cheap key fob on EBAY that already has a cut key, would that cause any problems other than not being able to use the key?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the dealer reprogramming a used key fob as compared to a brand new one?
