Yesterday the infotainment system on my 2015 LS Crafted Line went crazy. After starting the car, the radio came on for about 5 seconds, then went back off. Then the display started cycling through... the Warning screen for 5 seconds, a black screen for 5 seconds, and the Lexus logo for 2 seconds. It now repeats this endlessly, and I've found no combination of buttons that will change it. There's no audio now at all. Nothing can be controlled via the display (the right 1/3 of the screen)....

Anybody else experience this or have an idea on a potential quick remedy?

Thanks for the info! Nice move on Lexus' part... and to think I traded a 2013 M5 in on this thing, because it was having electronics issues!!!

 

I disconnected the negative end of the battery for about 7 mins. Reconnected and started my ES300h 2016. The system rebooted after the update and everything was back to normal. Turned off the car and restarted, no issues. Works as normal.

 

How is this update distributed? Is there a WAN with SIM-card in the nav system?
