Ok, so I have got a Hiphonics 1500w amp powering 2-12" Kicker CVRs in my car. Tonight, after having them installed for at least 3 or 4 months, I had an issue. Mid-drive, the amp turned off. The light on the amp was still getting power, but the power wasn't going to the channels. I checked my fuses and connections and everything seemed good. I will double check with a voltmeter tomorrow, but I'm starting to think it was an internal short because later tonight, I hit a bump and it came back on. It's on a pretty violent tune, like almost all the way up, and I had turned it down when it went off. So I pulled over and reset it to where it was and it last about a song and went back off. Anyone got any ideas or know of any known problems with Hiphonics? Any help is great. Thanks.

 

Just an update, took a voltmeter to the wires, all are good. Either a internal problem, or a connection problem with the amp to the wires. Any help is still appreciated
