So I put two subs and an amp in my 08 is350 and I've been having a strange problem with it. Everything works fine when the car is in the accessory position but as soon as I crank the engine up the fuses in the amp blow. I have never had a problem like this before and am completely dumbfounded as to how this could be. Any insight would be appreciated!

 

Did you power your amp straight from the battery?

 

Yes, haven't blown the fuse on that wire yet. I've got an 80amp under the hood and the amp has two 40amps in it. The two 40's are what seem to keep blowing.
