Default Rattling Noise Identified

I have a 99 GS 300 all stock, and recently I have been hearing a rattling noise when ever I hit a bump, the sound was coming from the trunk, so I popped the trnk and saw there is a black plastic panel thing that sits in between the amp and the metal part of the trunk. The black plastic panel is broken loose. My question is do I need that panel or can I trash it? It is attached to the trunk inner lining. Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Just use one piece of sound deadening around the edges and there will be no more rattling. Something like dynamat. I identified that area too when the sub hits, that part will rattle. Also, the clip on the inside door handle will rattle too, just a foam bettween the clip will get rid of the rattle (the clip you pop out to expose the screw).
