Default Sub acting funny?

I seem to be having a weird problem in my IS350 and I was wondering if you guys could help me figure it out. I took it into to the retarded dealership the other day to get a few issues fixed. The didn't do anything to fix the problems I listed which has really made me angry.

One of the problems was the sub that seems to rattle when the bass gets a little intense. It never happened before and the service advisor is trying to tell me the cone is hitting something?

Is this what is really going on here?

Also I have a stock non ML system with nav.

stock systems in general can't handle much bass. so even a properly working sub will distort with a lot of bass. but if you're sure it was working better before than it is now, i'd ask for a better explanation. ask him what it's hitting.

Possible that your license plate frame is rattling? Also, check the crossmember supports in the trunk. You might actually want to be in the trunk (not close of course) to listen for the rattles.

Many of the so called techs at Lexus will usually "rush" through the job to get their "book hours" in.

What does your list entail?
