Speakers/subs
I have a 2003 gs300 stock all around. I was wondering what the easiest way is to get a little more bass out of the stock 10" (i think) sub thats in the rear? Also, what kind of speakers are they - sounds pretty nice for a stock system, but im used to hittin 140 Db in my last car (89 240sx) - not that I want that again, but something to give me some more bass.

Do you have the ML package? If so, yes, it does sound good for stock. I replaced my stock sub with a JL IB sub powered with a small kick amp and it sounds decent. I'd just take the sub out, and put a box in the trunk or something. Sounds much better
i took out my rear stock 10 to allow for more air then i had installed a 12" jl 12w6 and a 500.1 jl mono amp and i had the bass control **** mounted in the ash tray so i can close it and hide it and it all looks like stock. Gombatai yo!
How hard was it to take out the old sub?
I have a 10" kicker comp sub in the deck, it sounds great
