Post Looking to install after market subs

might be installating two 12'' alpine type r subs in my 01 LS430

is it as simple as installing the subs as it would be in any other car or will it be a problem with the head unit??

not sure because i know lexus is more advanced technology

If you're just adding a sub amp and some subs it's very easy. All you need is a low level converter. If you're planning on going all aftermarket but keep the stock stereo that's when things get tricky.

im adding a 1500 watt alpine amp, two 12'' alpine type r subs, and i know i need the adapter or i think you said low level converter ( are they the same?)

would that be tricky?
