I heard the 12" W7 at a store in my town today...it was in a sealed box that was too small for it, with only 500 watts of power to it. IT SLAMMED!!! I have never seen a more accurate woofer. My friend has been looking for a single 12" woofer, so I told him, and he came down to the store with $950 in cash, and now he has a 12" W7 in a ported box. It goes in his car on the 17th. He's putting a Rockford Fosgate BD1000a1 to it, I am sure it will pound...if anyone wants an extremely loud, but nice sounded woofer, get this, its worth every penny.

 

I agree with you, that sub is amazing. My sister has one 12 in her car and i is so clear sounding, and it hits really hard. I am thinking about replacing the 2 12 solobarics I have in my car and getting a 12 W7. Just need a little more cash. Anyone considering this sub, it is worth the money, and it will replace almost 3 subs of the same size.

i heard a w7 the other day at a local store in anaheim and wasn't satisfied at all (for the price at least). for an sql woofer that cost near a grand, it lacks a lot of sq. the one i heard, in a competition crx, did not blend well at all. i do have to give it up, low end was there...output capabilities were surely there, but lacked sq for my liking. just my $0.02
