I actually just put in the Polyglass V2 Slims. The really nice thing about these speakers is that the mounting depth is kept to a minimum so so issues with installation or rubbing w/ the window glass. Sounds good. The tweeters fit in the stock locations perfectly. The highs are a bit bright, but thats wat you get w/ Focals.

I'm thinking Rainbows. You gotta here them sing for yourself.

focals out of those are the ones i would go with. you should listen to as many of them as you can so that you can decide for yourself

i have gone to tweeter/car toys to listen to them... they do sound good esp the polyglass and k2, but im mostly leaning toward the new Premium MB Quart, since it will be different from everyone and got a really good score by autohifi magazine (81/100), higher than all the Rainbows/Focal's except the Focal Utopia BE No. 6/7... which scored over 90/100 in the same magazine

but im also going to wait and see what they give the new Type X PRO that is about to come out, since my car is almost all alpine.

i currently have alpine cda-9835 cd player, 6.5" type r in the rears, and a type x 12" ina custom box

uhhh yeah...MB Quart is still more *****d out than Lindsey Lohan the day after rehab. I would stay away personally. But if you want to be "different" go right ahead.

Default JL ZR's!

These components are JL's top of the line speakers, but they are $800 for a set? They are bright and crisp and I love them!
