if i get a dvc 2ohm sub, id only be able to wire it with a 1ohm (parallel) or 4ohm (series) load right? would i be able to keep it at 2 ohms?

im going with the dei 1100d and its rated for 1 ohm..but im not too sure how well itll handle it in the long run. so i was thinking going with 2 ohms first, see how that is, and if i needed more power id switch to 1 ohm..but i guess thats not possible with a 2ohm dvc?

Fierce - Yes because the 1100d is a mono amp U won't have the ability to further adjust the impedance load as U could with a 2 channel amp ( by bridging the channels ). I think the ID amp is designed to easily handle a 1 ohm load for long periods as it's a Class D amp. These R more efficient than AB amps but not as clean & therefore better suited for use as a bass amp.
