Dash Install Mount - SC400
I remember a thread a long time ago that had the info on the mounting kit.
Basically. I just need to buy a mounting kit for a single din headunit for my 92 Sc400.
If they dont make them for my car, what can I do? LS400?

I have some good news and bad news:
The bad: They don't make a kit for these cars. You need to have a 1.5 din kit fabricated or a single din pocket plus a 1/2 din spacer (which can look fugly). I made one out of 1/4" MDF and it turned out pretty nice:
The Good: I just saved a ton of money on my car insurance!

The factory holes in the metal bracket. There are two sets of these ISO DIN mount holes and I used the top ones. For my new Double din unit I drilled the holes further back to make the face of the player flush with the surrounding bezel. I would suggest the same for any DIN sized deck as well.
