Found the pics:

Centered the double DIN stereo, left roughly 1/2" above and below the stereo, flushed the stereo back so that the nose stuck out about 1/8".

These are the two templates I used to create the trim ring. One is the outside border while the other is the inner double DIN (the hole size is slightly larger than the radio nose piece so that the stereo nosepiece can open, about a 1/16" gap all around)

This is the trim ring after using the router table with a flush trim bit, also primered.

Painted the trim ring with SEM's Satin Black spray paint, couple of coats.

Double stick tape on top and bottom will hold the trim ring in place.

That's how it's done--

I'm wondering if abs sheet will work -- and where to get it-- just as a thought for a possible alternative....

Looks nice--

The unit with the half din pocket looks good too, but almost looks a little bit wider than yours for some odd reason--

Sorry, I don't sell them... I'd have to go and route them, then primer, then paint em. But, I was wondering, what do you think this handmade trim ring would be worth?

Here's my AVN5500 and a 1/2 DIN spacer I made to temporarily cover up that hole:

I will replacing this DVD/screen with a Pioneer Z2 and by then I will have a permanent solution for the hole.

I am not all that happy with the options that the Eclipse has. Also, the points of interest are all over the US, not Canada. I need a better EQ, Better crossover and an updated Navi. That, and I don't sell Eclipse, I sell Pioneer.
