New Clarion All-in-1 Mobile Audio/video Unit
It's call "JOYRIDE..."
It has a PENTIUM PROCESSOR on it and it includes a dvd player, mp3 player, AND nav system all in one single din unit. All you would need would be a few monitors!!
I personally am going all Pioneer but if someone is in the market this might be a good unit?!?! BTW, how are Pioneers speakers?? Do they sound good? Are they durable?? Impressions??
Here is some more info on the Clarion...

P.S. I went to Clarion's Website but couldnt' find much info on it. You might wanna try it tho!!

Which pioneer speakers....that's system I am working on is all pioneer components and subs....I personally think pioneer (premiers higher end stuff) is one of the best component marketers out there right now. Sure, I'm into Focal, Diamond and all that good stuff, but dollar for dollar, the pioneer kicks azz. If you want a demo, anyone that is that's in the tri state area, come on down to the shop and you can here the car I am working on.
That clarion piece is sweet as hell, and I'm not a very big clarion fan.

RON,
I'm glad to hear that you have such nice things to say about the Pioneer Gear!! As far as my system goes, I will be sporting the new AVX7300DVD w/ the AVM-P9000R... As far as speakers go I'm undecided. That's why I asked about the Pioneers. I was thinking about going with the TS-C604 Components in the front and using TS-E1695 6 1/2's for the rears... Sound like a good plan??
How are these speakers?? SQ and durability??
For subs I'm using 2, 12" Kicker L7's with a ZR1000 amp!! I have a little of the system done and HOPEFULLY will have it completed in the next 2-3 months!!
I have 1 more question... Is there an MP3 player that is compatible w/ the Pioneer head unit?? I really would like an MP3 Player but dont' know what to look for or even where to look?!?
ALSO ON MY WISH LIST:
~PS2
~TV's in the headrests
~Satelite Radio
~DVD nav

I've been waiting for the Joyride for almost 3 years.
The Joyride is the sequel to Clarion's AutoPC. Essentially it is a WindowsCE-based computer for your car. It integrates the functions of a car stereo, a navigation system (with realtime traffic updates), a cellular phone, a vehicle diagnostic system, and a palmtop PC, all in a single DIN voice-activated package. Joyride adds DVD, MP3, a faster processor, etc. but it's been a LONG time in coming. It was first announced at (IIRC) CES in January of 2000, and we've been waiting for it ever since.
2 years ago, there was a LOT more information at the website (http://www.autopc.com) as well as a separate "Club AutoPC" site. Now the autopc site contains virtually no information, and Club AutoPC is completely defunct.
I'm starting to think it's vaporware.

I really like that computer thingy where you can buy extras, not just all in one wonder.
