Default Electrical System Replacement
I have a friend with a 96 LS400 that has an electrical problem and the dealer says he needs to replace the entire system for a total cost of $2500.

Are there cheaper alternatives to this?

what kind of electrical problem he has? I have electrical problems like side power mirror, power lock, etc..I'm trying to fix myself.
Does he have still warranty?
