Default Alpine double DIN head unit in GS300.

For my first mod I purchased an Alpine IVA-W200 and put it in tonight. I'm extremely happy with the end result. I have a couple pics, they aren't very good since my camera sucks, but I'll get some better pics in daylight (one pic is huge I know). Here they are:

How well does that Alpine work with an Ipod and can you hook up a cd changer with a Ipod together?

This head unit has a full speed Ipod connection, so you can control the Ipod right from this screen. You should be able to hook up changer also, either by a V-Link cable or just an auxillary input.

Here's a link to it on Alpine's website: http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...model=IVA-W200

Correct me if I'm wong here. I own a D310 that you would need to use the Versatile Link if you wanted to use an i-Pod and changer at the same time because the KCA-410C i-Pod interface unit uses the Ai-Net connection. However, I just bought a W200 for my other car and since it uses the High Speed i-Pod connection in a seperate port and NOT the Ai-Net connection you should be able to run the i-Pod and changer without needing the Versatile Link unit.

I bought that mounting kit. It was a Best Kit, but stamped on the kit itself, was American International, so I'm sure you can buy either brand and get the same thing.
