Default Using NAV to play DVD?

I don't have ML option, just standard GS300 with NAV. Has anyone installed an aftermarket NAV/ DVD interface so an external DVD player can input into the stock radio and display DVD?

One local store in Los Angeles told me the interface is not available until Feb of next year. The third generation GS uses fiber optics on its head unit and is totally different from the previous GS versions. Is this correct?

Actually, my question is for a third generation GS. I understand this mod had been done for a long time on previous models. But supposedly, it is not yet available on the 2006 models yet. I'm wondering if anyone had it done on their 06 GS.

Thanks.

I have seen posts on eBay for software that will allow you to play via the indash player while the car is moving.

The ebay link is only for people with Mark Levinson.... the mentioned steps were already documented on this forum, you wouldn't need to pay the $10.....
