More DVD/NAV Questions...
I've been searching a few posts on this and I'm having a hard time getting a specific answer. I hope someone can help me out her.
I currently have a 2002 GS430 w/ NAV etc. I want to hook up a DVD player or PSII. I'm reading that there is another port on the back of the NAV screen.
Questions
What type of port is back there? 3 RCA's? 12 Pin Port? Serial Port?
I'm debating between a videogame setup or Lexus DVD setup.
I hear the Lexus DVD changer is plug and play. How do you control the DVD player?
Does is replace your CD changer function? Is it touch screen?
Does the connector off the DVD player come with additional video outputs? I'd like to install additional monitors for those sitting in the back seat. This way, i'll have something for the baby to keep quit and hopefully distracted on trips.
With the DVD installed, will you lose NAV abilities just in case you need to switch back and forth? Will the DVD turn off when the NAV is engaged?
Can anyone post pics of their install setup?
