Default help with my nakamichi system

I've tried reading the posts on the CL but couldn't find out if my nakamichi amp is broken or not. Currently, there's no sound coming out of my system. The stock system plays CD, FM, and tape. I see it running but no sound comes out. There's power and everything. Off and on, the sound would come up, but only shortly, before it's totally mute again.

Again help would be great. I've been a few Nak amps for around $100+ but wasn't planning to spend that much.

you might want to check both speakers and amp. Check the voltage coming into the amp and also going away from the amp.

check the fuse, sometimes they can be "semi-blown", also check all connections to the amp it could just be a loose acc wire or something. Good luck
