Does the lexus gs 300 platinum series come with 6 speakers and a subwoofer or 4 speakers and a subwoofer?

What kind of systems do you guys have in your gs3's? Im looking to add one jl w7 but im not sure yet.

Also where is the factory amp located?

If your caar shakes around 60 mph what does that mean? mine shakes a little very minamal i would say and it only does it sometimes.

 

4 speakers, 2 tweeters & 1 sub until you get to the ML system which is 10.

The amp is in the passenger foot area. It's the size of 2 hard drives side by side and it powers all of the speaker.

Could be your tires need balancing if it shake above 60.

I replaced my headunit and added an amp, speakers still stock. Big improvement over the stock sound.

 

so in the rear panel there should only be 1 speaker spot and that is for the sub? because right now i have two holes in the rear panel that where it looks like the speakers were taken out and the sub is missing also.

 

yeah, gs3 or gs4, they all only have 1 sub, 10".

the previous owner most likely added additional speakers onto the rear deck.

the factory setup is only one 10" sub

 

my driver side shakes when i hit 80 mph. on the driver side. i got the driver side balanced and i aligned it. it does'nt shake as hard but i can still feel the shake minimal now. i need to go back to the alignment shop. i cant let go of the wheel and expect it to go straight. it drifts to the right or sometimes left, but mostly right 90% of the time. but the shaking still occurs. i need suggestions also.

 

Mine might shake becuase my front right tire is almost completly bald.... and it the car is on 20's the tire is only a 35 so that might be why.. but i think the car may have problems with the front right becuase it is the only bald tire and the rest are all in good condition, could it just be that side shaking causing the tire to go bald faster?


Also what kinda of system works well in a gs300? im thinking 1 woofer maybe a 12' or something of that nature (jl w7 12' or 13.7)

And does the lexus gs 300 not have fold down rear seats?

 

for the woofer. i was thinkin to fit a 10" free air kicker. i dont know if they even sell these anymore. i saw them a few years back. also not a big fan of kicker. but the L7's are pretty bumpin though, i give it up to kicker. but autotek is the ****. underrated as hell. price is cheap as hell to. but you gotta purchase the "mean machine" series though, subs and amps. subs are 800 watts max, but they can handle between 1000-2000 or even more. but thats if your lookin for bump. if you want clarity...there's a lot of audio out there for clarity. it all depends on price though.

 

INFINITY KAPPA PERFECT VQ 10" is a free-air woofer and is supposed to be VERY good according to a lot of reviews on the infinity 10" woofers.
