speaker help
so i put two cvr 12' sub last week in my is250 still left the oem high and mids speakers on the door and rear but i gotta say i hate how its sounds by starters my bass dose not hit hard like i want it too the guys who put it on sed it had to do with the oem stock radio not having a amplifier to make it sound good i want ppl to hear me coiming and im not getting none of that at all any help?
2 CVR 12s will always need an upgrade of the interior speakers and an amp to go with it on both the sub and the mids and highs. I have an L7 12 in my car with the factory ML system which is an additional 18 speakers and the factory system can barely keep up with the L7. So I know your 2 12s are too much for yours. If you want to be heard coming, upgrade the factory speakers and drive them with an amp.
thats a bunch of crap it depends on so many things, but they probably put a crossover on the wrong speakers so your not getting a full sound out of the sub.
or could be a weak amp, or a crappy box. but cvr's wont really beat your brains out unless you get a custom ported box.
