hello, Im having problems with my nakamichi stereo, the speakers keep going on and off, for example the drivers side speakers only work i restart the stereo all work, than goes out etc... just annoying

anyone know what's the problem?

my speakers used to turn off in the hot summers when i had the cd player cranked all the way up.....the amp would just got too hot. i would have to turn off the radio and wait for a minute or so before i could hear sound again......that may be the problem (amp heating up.)

 

Well, its winter here, so it aint hot, but the thing is that only a few speakers go out not all of them.
I don't feel like taking this problem to lexus and pay out the ***, can anyone help?

 

maybe the wires are loose???

i would at least check out the wires before taking it in...but i wouldn't take it to lexus, i would take it to a reputable car radio shop like car toys or something similar....
