Default mounting depth for 10" sub in 96 sc?

i am trying to debate b/n which subwoofer to replace my stock sub with. i would like to use the original spot for the sub. i was looking on crutchfield.com and comparing the infinity's the 10.1 single voice coil (md of 5.75") vs the VQ(md of 7.25").

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xPkR64...earch=free+air

i was concerned about the mounting depth though with the VQ. i know am probably going to have to put spacers in, but i am also trying to keep it as simple as possible. oh, also im be pushing it with a 200w bridged at 4ohms fosgate amp. any advice, or help on the mounting depth.

i would prefer to put it in the rear deck. i know it may not sound nearly as good, but i would like to try it as my first option.
