does anyone out there have a remote start on there lexus? If so what kind of problems did you guys running in to cause i am having all sorts of problems.

 

I have had great luck with a Viper ( model 550 ??, can't remember for sure) installed by local car audio shop in '97 LS400.

They were the only shop willing to do the job, though. Claimed to have done many. Charged a bunch; I think it was $350.00 parts & labor. And they had to take it back in to run a wire to under the hood to get a reliable tach signal. After that, smooth sailing for 3 years now.

Others wouldn't touch the big Lex.

Sorry for your troubles. I think for sure they're installer related.

 

What kind of problem are you having?I've never had any problem.

 

I have the Luxury Motorworks auto start on my IS and it works great. You dont even need an extra controller.

 

Got Clifford Intelistart on my SC4, no problems. Fitted myself too!
