Default SC400Tuner.com did it again....

so I dicided to still give sc400tuner.com a try even after reading through some of the bad reviews about them. What did I get after 3 weeks?(order placed on June 1) Nothing.... My radio insert is still not here.... I don't even remember how many emails and pms I have sent, but all I've received are these three replies.

Hello,

We are not open on Fridays but I do know that all
inserts have shipped from the previous week.

If you have nothing by the end of the day MONDAY.
Please email back with "Attention Marcus" in the
subject line.

Hello,

I am the manager at Preferred Image. I apologize for any delay you may have had. I was away on other business.
I see that they cannot handle things while i am away. This is first day back and I am going over all orders from the last 2wks+. I assure you that it will get taken care of tonight along with a response to you.

Thank you, Alex Tran

This is a general Email.

Hello,

Your name is on a list from SC400Tuner.com for the
Dash insert update.

First - We are aware that the sites are down and are
working hard to figure out why they have all went down
at the same time. There is nothing to worry about
concerning payments to the site.

As noted on the site before it crashed, we were
supposed to get the materials needed to fabricate the
inserts Today (Thursday) The supplier was out of the
material and we had no choice but to wait. We did get
the materials needed.

As of 8pm Thursday ALL previously unshipped orders
were built and packaged to ship via Express mail on
Friday morning.

We deeply apologize for not putting these on back
order sooner.

Most of you have already gotten your back ordered
parts, but there are a few that had to wait a bit
longer for new pieces to be made as we could not
recall enough from stocking vendors to fill our own
orders.

If you need a unique question answered or confirmed
notification of shipment, please send your name and
shipping address to us at sc400Tuner@yahoo.com with
"BACKORDER STATUS" in the subject line. I will respond
before the end of Friday.

Thank you, Alex

and of course, I still don't have my item and they have never sent me the confirmation email or given me any reply. It does not take that long for items to get to CA from WA, so if they really sent it out, like they said, last Thursday, I should have already received the item or it should come here within the next two days. I'll file a claim to paypal if I do not receive it by this thursday. Just venting and sorry for the long post.

Great! I just ordered the insert this week. So I'm assuming I shouldn't expect to see this for awhile

Can anyone else give their experience or who to contact to ensure timely service?

Thanks
Chris

Great to hear!

Can you cut the hole and insert the deck into it, or do you have to cut below the head unit and use it to just fill the rest of the opening. Pics would be great it you get a chance.

Thanks

Great. I did not post in thread because I know product was in the mail already.

hopefully this gives you an idea. This is only a section of it, I cut the other part to fit in with my single din stereo.
