I recently bought a 96 sc 300 and it did not come with the remote entry key fob. I had done some research on this awesome forum and ended up buying a key fob on ebay. I got the key fob and used the programming code from the forum and could not get it to work. I took the car to the Lexus dealer and had them test the key fob and it is transmitting fine. The master tech told me it was the reiever that was probably bad. I got a new reciever and installed it and tryed again to program and I can get the doors to lock/unlock twice by themselves, but when I push the lock button on the keyfob nothing happens no beep to tell me that it was recieved. Can someone tell me if this key fob is not for my car?The fcc# is hyq1512p I am at a complete loss! Please someone help I am very frustrated at this point!!!!
