CD changer not working (Err)

CD changer in my 1992 LS400 stopped working yesterday. It has Nakamichi system with 6disk changer in the trunk.

On the radio display, it shows "Err" Is there a way to retrieve a code for this error so that I can track exactly what error is occuring???

I did try reset button, but nothing.
I checked the CDs for scratches or maybe inserted upside down....nothing.
I took the changer out from the car and took it apart to clean the pickup lens....nothing.
I looked at Lexus repair manual, but it doesn't explain anything about error code on radio.

Manual says I should install another changer to see if it works.....well, I don't have extra changer with me!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

reset button

I have a unit displaying the same ERR on the display and wont play any CD's. I keep hearing people talking about the reset button, but I don't know where it is located. Can you tell me where it is at?

There was a tiny button right above the CD changer door (where you insert the cartridge) I used the tip of pen to push it. Hope this helps.
