80 min CDR's bad?
I have a 1990 Lex 400 and a 2004 LX470. I noticed the LS's CD changer went bad after a few years esp since I started using burned CDR's.
1. Do you think I damaged the cd player by using CDR's?
2. If so, is it because I used 80 min CDR's?
3. Should I burn 74min CDR's or just not use CDRs in general?
Anyone else have any problems?
What prompted me thinking about the 80 min is because in the LX the very last tracks of the 80min CDR's do not play well (a lot of skipping) so I hope the laser is not going to pop off the track or in some way damage the cd player.
