Default Offered a bespoke build slot...

Hi guys,

Our dealer has offered us an opportunity to build a bespoke LC 500 Coupe @ MSRP with delivery in 3-5 months after a $2000 deposit.

I have a few questions:

-Will I miss not having rear wheel steering and variable ratio steering?
-Will a bespoke hold value any better than a regular LC coupe?
-Is it worth the additional money for what amounts to us just wanting the Manhattanhenge interior?
-If we build, what exterior color would be best to compliment or at least not clash with that vibrant interior?

Best,

D

i dont think bespoke holds its value any better. heck, even inspiration edition cars arent really commanding any price premium over regular LC500's.

If you want the Mahattenhendge then by all means go for the Bespoke - Only way to get it.

However, I LOVE the dynamic package, The rear wheel steering is AWESOME and just adore the Carbon Fiber roof.

IMO bespoke is highly overrated. there are just too many caveats and limitations on the configurator, and IMO the rear wheel steering is well worth having over some black exterior trim pieces or the orange interior

- no one knows but probably not much if any

The black chrome trim should be an option on regular builds. Same with some extra interior colors. Lexus is way too stubborn with options IMO.

I believe this is the blacked out chrome parts right here. Not even that expensive for all the chromey bits to get blacked out.

FYI as it may be of interest. Below is a link to a current bespoke 2023 coupe on sale (?). The dark chrome option is only $650 but you need the bespoke option for $4500 to order it! On the page top is the link to the window sticker

How did you find all of these cars? I never see these listed on sites like cars .com or autotrader.

.....Careful grasshopper you are on the edge of pointing out things that don’t appeal to you…..Guessing now you understand why.....Without differences of opinion, there would be no conversation and we would all be like worker bees.

-Will I miss not having rear wheel steering and variable ratio steering?
No…..If you’ve never had it.
-Will a bespoke hold value any better than a regular LC coupe?
Regardless what other’s would say…..Yes definitely…..As long as your build matches buyers preferences
-Is it worth the additional money for what amounts to us just wanting the Manhattanhenge interior?
For me yes…..As long as you can afford it and are not concerned bout resale. Lotta folks don’t like Orange
-If we build, what exterior color would be best to compliment or at least not clash with that vibrant interior?
Neutral Colors….Black, White, Gray.
