Default Current Marketplace and Questions

I'll be ready to move forward ordering a new vert with delivery in thr next few months, a local dealer here in S FL said Lexus is no longer taking their orders, and they are putting addendums of $30000-$40000 when they have one to sell...although if the current state of the capital markets continues, I'm hoping this may change.

Questions:They mention 2023 but don't say if it's MY23 or CY23

Thanks in advance

My dealers in Canada all said the same thing. If you ordered any LC past March this year, you won’t see it till likely March of next year. Thus many of them are not even taking orders.

unlike you guys down in the states, they cannot overcharge msrp in Canada.

Check cars.com.

Email every dealer in the entire US showing one for sale you'd take and ask for their best price and that you are ready to buy.

I live in AZ and found a dealer in IL willing to play so I bought it over the phone and paid $2k to ship it enclosed.

How did you email all these dealers? Must have taken some time.

We could use that policy here

Would thought there would have been quite a bit more than that, interesting.

There were only 15 ‘verts physically in stock in the US at the time. I got $5k off MSRP with zero dealer add-ons.

Check autotrader.com most dealers use that site. Even if you dont go new you can buy slightly used, under10k miles.

I found only one that meets my color/option choices, they won't budge from msrp and they've had the vehicle for several months.

My local dealer here in SW FL will let me know when the order banks open for MY 23, I'm working directly with the new car mgr and she thinks early fall. Also hoping for some kind of enhancements like 360 view...massaging seats would be nice too.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I am also looking at the new SL but it's timing and price remain an unknown at this point.

I'm coming out of a BMW M850 coupe...it's been a fantastic car with nearly no issues to speak of.

no reason to limit buying to SE dealers... i'm in FL also but bought mine from a dealer in Missouri and had it shipped to me. smooth transaction and then i just registered it in florida. i'll be taking mine to a FL dealer soon for its first service.

Has MY22 production ended?
not sure anyone knows. lexus typically doesn't have 'next year' cars available in u.s. until november/december so i'd be surprised if '22 mfg has stopped since they only became available a couple of months ago it seems!

They mention 2023 but don't say if it's MY23 or CY23
that video is pure speculation based on wild guesses and imo, it's pure fiction/garbage.

early fall sounds about right. as for those changes, hope springs eternal.

nice, why are you changing, because you want a convertible? (i have the lc coupe by the way).

Since I'm a bit of a perfectionist I'd like to examine the car in the flesh before buying if at all possible

According to the sales mgr I spoke with today the only '22 production is for bespoke coupes

I guess we'll soon see

Indeed

Partly, I just luv the design of the LC and find the vert even more appealing. The M850 is hard to beat, it is wicked fast and very well built, but from an aesthetic standpoint the LC has it and so many others beat hands down.

.
