LC 500 at mecum auction

A 2018 infrared with black and white interior and 13 miles on the odometer was recently sold for $126,500 at Mecum Kissimmee. They also charge 10% commission on the sale. Maybe this is a sign the LC could have some future collectibility?

Auction fever has a tendency for people to bid higher than is reasonable. People tend to think they 'win' at the auction when actually they spent the most anyone there at the time would spend for the item.

My main question here (if anyone could help me answer it is: when did Lexus ever release the IR LC500 with a WHITE and BLACK interior? Never seen that before, and maybe that's why (alongside the extreme low mileage) it sold for such a high price.....

Good point 1 of a kind, pulls a lot more $$ and they can take it home now. these will gain Higher price points for sure.

That custom interior looks really nice. It would’ve been cheaper to buy a brand new LC and get the interior done by a shop. I wish Infrared came with more interior color options.
