Default Booster seat in the back

Hey guys,

I’m thinking about getting an LC. I was wondering is there room for a child booster seat in the back for a 6-10 year old? In order to have some leg room for a kid, I was thinking of bringing the passenger front seat forward.

If anyone who has an LC and has these experiences, please share. Thanks!

My brother ordered a new M4 last week instead of an LC 500 only because his 3yo’s seat didn’t fit comfortably in the LC’s backseat.

Not sure if different than a 6yo as I know nothing about children. Haha

depends if you want the front passenger seat to be usable as well. if not, great. if so, gonna be a problem.

no kids for me, but I would not plan on putting any humans back there.

Thanks for the input guys. The reason why I’m asking is because this would make or break it for me to consider the LC at this time.

I was watching some YouTube videos on the LC, and one of the reviewers briefly showed that a booster seat was there in the back. But I wanted to get some real world experiences from members who do use the back seat for children.

My 6 year old fits there just fine with my 5'4" wife in front. I'd say when he gets to be 8-9 might start having slight issue. Even then. I think short trips will be fine, just rougher on longer trips, but we have other vehicles for that.

The back seat is usable for medium sized adults (or smaller) for short trips. I had two of my 5 foot 8 friends sit in the car, one behind the other. Not the most comfortable, but no one was complaining. Biggest issue is the headroom in the back, for children though it should be fine. BTW everything i said applies to the coupe, the convertible rear seat is much smaller and near useless for anything other than toddlers

key points, it depends on the heights of the occupants. a 5'4" or 5'8" front occupant can bring the front seat quite a bit forward, making it possible for someone no bigger to sit (pretty crushed, lol) in the back, for a SHORT trip.

definitely!

i have a coupe and at 6'3" obviously the back seat wasn't meant for me. for grins i moved the passenger seat all the way forward and could get in the back as long as i was prepared for a major crick in the neck from not having ANYWHERE near enough head room, lol.

It looks like a booster seat and child could work back there, but that's not a chance I'm willing to take. My kids will NEVER ride in my LC.

This was the reason why I ended up with a GSF. Even if I can get my kid to sit back there, there really isn't much room in the trunk for a long weekend stay. A day at the beach might be okay.
It's hard to justify a 100k+ vehicle and not able to take the family to trips is a real dealbreaker for me. The other drives I do nowadays is to the grocery store. I still look at the LC as if I'm going to buy one though.
