As a potential buyer, which updates were most noticeable?
I'm getting rid of the ol GS here shortly and eyed up the LC as my next love.
Obviously 2018s will be most affordable, but has anyone physically noticed the improvements between 18 & 19, or 19 & 21?
If so, are they the kind of updates that are "must haves"? More focused on drivability - things like carplay and infotainment I'm not worried about.
i've not driven earlier than my own ('21) but despite some reviews saying '18s were not as comfortable to drive as later years, i've yet to see an owner of an '18 complain!
the changes from year to year have been pretty minor. i wanted a '21 because i wanted android auto, and i felt the lightened suspension components likely would be an improvement. i love how my car drives, but i honestly have no idea if i'd notice differences between it and an earlier year.
Mine's one of the first, and I too have absolutely no complaints about the drive. To be honest, I can't notice any difference when I put the car into "comfort" mode, it just seems the same as whatever it was in before.
Thanks for the feedback! Basically just looks to be a situation where I'll keep an eye out for a good color combo with various packages and not factor in the year as much.
Also a potential buyer here. Looking online I see many 2021's listed, but no 2022's. I was told by a Lexus Sales 'Associate' that Lexus has been producing 2022's since July 2021. Of course one must always believe EVERYthing a Sales Asso. says, so, where are the 2022's??
Yes late 2021. But I think the 2022 with be spoke option wont be in the dealer until 2022, it make sense. But for those who order convertible since Sept will get 2022 model.
