I'm not nearly as serious about detailing & I'm sure the finish on your car @DudewithLC is way better than mine, but I ceramic coated my car withA dam's Graphene Ceramic 9-year myself and was delighted with how easy & cheap it was and how great it turned out. And for a total cost of maybe $50 and a few hours of work, vs. the $1300 quote I got from a shop, think it's really underrated to DIY ceramic.
Good question - I had prior GTechniq experience and didn't want to add any new variables. Anything from Carpro is excellent and I know several folks who are very pleased with Cquartz.

You're right - my first color choice was Infrared knowing the gloss would look 10 feet deep. The Ultra White I purchased was on the showroom floor of my local dealership and it blew me away when I saw it. I've never owned a white car before. The multi-layer paint process used by Lexus to produce certain colors creates something special. The only downside as you pointed out is white will not provide the depth of shine relative to some other colors. Same thing with silver.
I finally found some ramps that can accommodate the limited clearance. unfortunately while the car is elevated, my fat *** was still unable to squeeze underneath to reach the drain plug (which those Japanese put a foot behind the front wheels!! basically where the A pillar starts)
the search continues.
