i love driving in the rain for some reason so i don't care if it's raining when i'm out in the LC! certainly won't hurt the car. besides in summer in FL, it's likely to rain a bit in the afternoons!
I'm guessing you never experienced acid rain damage?

Driving in the rain is not the problem. But allowing the rain to dry on your car’s surface is, for some of us….. I hear yah. Go have your fun and enjoy those showers from Heaven.

And don't be dumb and be those people who park under trees for shade. Esp here in AZ. Nothing is worse than tree sap on your paint or PPF.

yes, i wouldn't do that. my lc stays in the garage most of the time. about rain, yes i've let some dry on the car, oh well. i had my car ceramic coated which probably helps, plus i've honestly never seen a problem with rain left on any of my cars but i'm not ocd when it comes to detailing, etc.

This is very true especially when even a relatively clean vehicle has a light dusting of air born/environmental contaminants on it, there's some kind of chemical reaction that takes place when the water and dust mixes then dries, especially if the sun then comes out and it essentially gets baked in a bit.
Being in AZ has to help a lot with that
Here's in SW FL the rain is almost a daily occurrence this time of year, and when it's not raining the humidity is so high at times it almost feels like it is when it's not lol
If I can see rain water beading on the paint then I figure it's not getting through to the paint. Frankly, I have zero chance of "protecting" mine from rain and on 2 accounts:
1. I live in the UK
2. My car lives outside
