The thought I experienced after reading them was the absence (so it seems) of female LC owners/drivers on ClubLexus. I see adventurous chicks and mature ladies on the road in hot cars, but not LC's, which I'd think would be a natural magnet for attracting attention or appeal to feme automobile enthusiast. Just my observation/ imbedded question.
I drove to Florida to trade in my RCF for the LC. Within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership, a blonde female rolled down her window and yelled, "That is the sexiest car ever made."

HA HA HA HA, but why aren't they driving them? My story is that when mine was staged for delivery, and dealer sales people were giving compliments, a lady after seeing it so I was told, asked my salesman, "Is he married?"
Only thing worse than slamming the door? Pointing out the window and having to touch it! Or even worse, a mosquito (oh the horror) got inside on a recent trip in the LX and she was trying to smash it against the window, with rings on. Not good for the Ceramic tint!
BTW, the nice thing about the LX is the soft/self-closing doors. Although I can tell you that if they don't close the door they just open it back up and slam it shut.

I can attest to the slamming doors and trunk even though our LS has both features.
The trunk slamming is really bothersome because it has a button right there!
My humorous story is I was concerned about the Caviar black color in that a dark color can hide some of the car design details IMO. However, after making this comment to my wife, I stopped to get gas. I had three (3) separate people compliment me on the car and wanted to know "just what it is".

Teach me. Had mine three months with manual trunk-slamming (gently as possible). Just now ran to garage to check, but neither the cabin nor exterior button at the trunk lowered it.
Never mind re-readingI see you were talking abut the LS.

Still boggles my brain that LC doesn't have power trunk feature that my lowly 2014 GS350 had.

Power trunk seems overkill, to me, for a car like this, but a gas strut to pop it open might have been nice… Oh well, one less component to replace, in the long haul!
I'm glad it doesn't...already has more bells and whistles than I care for. One of the reasons I love driving my Maserati GT, it has zero conveniences!
As much as I have enjoyed the bells-and-whistles, I agree to a point. Seems there is so much to malfunction with all the fab features. I do worry about battery failure as a weakness, but decided to enjoy the sugar-plum while it lasts, and rest on Lexus quality to get me through.

Randomly ran into a crew of 3 LCs at a local meet this evening, made some new friends! @KennyFSU with his RCF in on the fun and another friend of ours in his ISF as well. Great meet up tonight!
