I was dreaming last night and this happened. Mach 1.2 as time stood still. Fly Navy! VF-111 Sundowners
We had the VF-111 Sundowners on our 66 and 67 combat cruises aboard U.S.S. Oriskany in Vietnam. Lost a handful of planes that year with no casualties in 67 but two captured and spent time as POW'S. We did however lose three members of the squadron in our 66 fire.

The flare yellow is really growing on me. Initially struck me as too much “look at me “ but it’s an interesting blend of striking and yet elegant somehow simultaneously.
It has been few weeks after taking delivery of Atomic Silver which was supposed to arrive in Nov 2024 but was held in port for couple of months... Few shots from delivery day to last week...
On the truck when it arrived at the dealership on 1/20/2025, waiting to be unloaded. I took delivery within few hours after its arrival.

Did 1st fill up yesterday after 300 miles of local drive... 20mpg average (miles driven divided by gallons filled).. 26.5 mpg while on the highway... Not revved above 3K RPM except couple of times while trying to be in manual...
BTW we were looking for RX450h+ but the color combo wasn't available when we were shopping. That allowed us to change our mind and get a LC coupe.
