here's a few... let me know if you have solutions, workaround, the same, or anything else you can add!

the outside door handles are cool, but i really don't like the operation much. press the indent to get the handle to come out, then open the door. that's ok, but when i close the door and the handle's still out, i get nervous pressing the handle to get it to go back in as you have to use quite a bit of force. so instead i typically just use the key fob lock button instead.

I was talking with the service rep about the failing door handles, and he said (maybe blowing smoke) that pushing the handles back in was bad for the actuators and could cause failure. So now, I too, use the lock function rather than pushing.
My '24 handles only require a slight push to close (I slightly push near Lexus emblem). Once the mechanism senses slight pressure it draws handle in, no excessive force required.

Same - just a slight push until you feel the resistance, and release. Then it locks and closes in on itself. I find it very convenient, though I do notice sometimes it just doesn't respond properly for whatever reason. I'm not sure why or what if anything I'm doing wrong when that happens. But when it does, I have to push it in slightly as if I were wanting to close it, which pops it back open, and then I push it a second time, and it closes and locks. Weird.

I use the key card so pushing it to lock is the most convenient way. Otherwise I have to reach for the phone, wait for it to connect, send the command, and lock. By this time, I’m already inside where I wanted to go.

I gotta say, for the price of the vehicle, I would imagine there’s some kind of courtesy lights when you walk to it. There’s absolutely none, and in the night, it’s pitch black and you have to find your way to the door handle to pop it out. Weird that they can fit a camera under the side mirrors but they can’t fit a light?

With this talk about the door handle it reminded me that I wanted to reduce the time the handles are extended. I don't see an option to go below the default 60 seconds, I don't know what's up with the 20 minute option. I'm not locking the car to put gas in it, but I also don't want the handles sticking out for 60 seconds. 0-15 seconds would be fine with me and then maybe we wouldn't have to look at all of the extended door handles in the picture thread

LOL 60 seconds or 20 minutes with no in between is just comical. Personally I wish there was a 2 or 3 minute option. Sometimes I think 60s is too short if I'm working on the car or detailing, running kids in and out, etc. and I am going in and out I don't want to leave the door open but I also will be back shortly. Sometimes it closes on me as I'm walking back to get back in. First world problems

Interestingly this is not even a personalization option at all per the 2024 manual.

The interior loghts are not turning on when you aproach the car with the fob? The doors need to be locked for it to work.
