bugs, quirks, and usability issues
Another one... maybe you guys can help with
is there really no way to set the 'home' destination for nav other than typing in an address with the foul on screen keyboard and trackpad?
Home is already a 'previous' destination (i set via voice) but i don't see how to use a prior destination as setting for 'home'?

From one of the newest proud owners (exactly one week):
- The "meter" screen - the one in the center of the driver display, right below the speedometer - defaults to fuel efficiency each time you start the car. Many other informational displays are available if you find and work the menu, but your setting won't hold. The car will default to fuel efficiency each time you start it.
- Windows in the 'vert don't close automatically when the roof comes back up. They do on some other high-end 'verts, but here one has to lift the button assigned to those windows. (First World issue for sure, much like many of these others.)

Is a bit surprising the windows don’t automatically go up when the top is raised. But nice to have the switch to raise them all at once there with the up/down switch. That whole door over the switches is quite nice in design and quality. Love how it is damped as it opens.
Sorry I haven't kept up on this thread I broke a tooth on a jolly rancher and had to have it extracted and prepped for an implant. Not fun man. I'll try and contribute more when I'm feeling better.
Don't forget there are more settings when you move the tachometer to the right. Makes things even more confusing when looking for a setting or option. While skimming I saw mention of the gear position view. I believe changing that view setting is in there.
I did find another quirk. I was on my way home from the tooth bone graft procedure and went to adjust the brightness of the tach area and I somehow pressed the fuel door button and I'll be damned if it didn't open while I was moving. You'd think Lexus would disable that while in motion. I was probably only going 15 or 20 miles an hour so maybe is disables at a higher speed.... I didn't test it. I had to get out at the intersection and close it though.

Which reminded me of another annoyance, the hud was always slightly crooked, even at maximum angle adjustment. Dealer Couldn’t even get it level.
@Exhilr8n: If you find that, please let me know. Apparently, you and others have had some success in locking in a different meter screen than I'm stuck on. Thanks!
EDIT: thinking back, I never could get the HUD to stay straight on the 2019 coupe. It’s aligning ok so far on the verti

Yeah, why mess around modding a car when you can just get a whole new experience? You did stick with the LC three years though. Right now I’m in the honeymoon again and want to be together forever. Going in for full PPF next week. We’ll see how long the romance lasts. But seems like I have covered the bases of various directions. This second LC seems very much the right car for me. Perfect convertible weather right now.
