Default Side mirrors tilt down in reverse?

Isn't this a feature when in reverse? Mine doesn't do that and I'm wondering if it's a setting somewhere. I'm sure it's supposed to do that. Let me know. Thanks.

Make sure the button that selects which mirror on the driver door is pressed on either Left or Right. If it's off, then the tilt function is turned off.

Once in reverse, you can adjust your mirrors to your desired position. That will be automatically memories and re-called the next time you go in reverse.

There is no way to not have it on either left or right. I actually wanted to NOT have them tilt down and the dealership said to just keep it in the middle, but there is no option to do that. Its always on either left or right. I'm having the dealership figure out how to turn it OFF for me.

I think that the dealership should know how to turn it on for you.

Which ever button is lit, just push it to turn it off.

This is correct. The adjustment mirrors has to be off (Left & Right) this will disable the mirrors from tilting down when the car is in reverse.

For some reason, my driver's side mirror would not auto-tilt down on reverse (passenger side would). I read a post on this forum that explained that while in reverse (car stopped for safety of course), I had to use the button to turn the driver's side mirror down one time. After that, it worked as expected.
