Default more drive mode questions...

first off who drives in what mode typically? ok, i'll add a poll!

also, does the car skip first gear in say eco, normal, or comfort, and maybe only use it for sport and sport+?

I mostly drive in comfort. Sometimes in Sport. I bought the car mainly for cruising which it does extremely well. I take my 911 out when I want to

drive more aggressively!

well now, me an my LC honey here prefer to roll in sport or sport + ,
and generally try eschew the less energetic modes, lest they inculcate
lethargy and sloth...

Pretty calm, nice fuel economy on the highway

My wife is not big on big engine sounds

Eco kind of masks the fact that we have V8 power

since the car in normal or comfort is typically in 10th gear on highway anyway, not sure if eco can improve economy, although i believe it reduces a/c clout some, but doubt that would make any difference.

might as well get the hybrid one.

For me its a binary thing

Sport+ for me time

Eco for time with my wife

The car is generally quieter in Eco so that fits the use

I switch up and like to keep things moving as they were programmed to do.

Me: Normal until broken in--then Sport/Sport+. But when hit traffics--I am back to normal.
Me & my wife: Normal

Come to think of it, I will try Eco when she is with me given she also doesn't care of the engine "noise".

My wife asked what was ticking and I replied that was just the exhaust sound

She is used to my Q50S Hybrid which is pretty quiet with the ICE running and really quiet when just the electric power is moving the car.

Just an update. Was driving alone on a twisty, hilly CT. backroad yesterday and decided to try Sport plus. The car does come alive and handles

quite well. I think I will be using it more but only solo driving. Wife not a fan of aggressive driving, likes comfort mode.
