After owning my 21' convertible for 2 years, it was time for a tire change. Ditched the Bridgestone RF's for Michelin Pilot Sport AS. One word sums it up. AMAZING. What I thought was an amazing car before the swap has now totally blown me away after the swap. The car now just seems to glide like spacecraft gliding over the ground. So quiet, so smooth and just so much nicer. If you are thinking about making a change, don't wait too long as you will be missing out.

Thanks for the positive recommendation. I have a 2021 convertible with the original 21" Michelin RF tires and they are near replacement time. I plan on going for the Pilot Sport AS too. Great to hear they made such a noticeable difference.

Great recommendation. I have a '23 convertible with the original Bridgestone RF's (currently w/10.6K miles) and I can't wait to swap them out for Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires. Thank you for the input!
My 2025 convertible came with Dunlap which are not run-flat. I've not heard anyone mention anything about these. My ride seems fine but I have nothing to compare it with. Anybody know anything about these tires.
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 060
Type: Ultra-High Performance Summer tire.
Construction: Non-run-flat (standard).

It's a decent summer tire. It won't have the performance/grip level of a Micheline Pilot Sport S5 or 4S but it will have longer life. I would use that tire until it's running low then replace, to me it would not be worth ditching a perfectly good tire for some marginal performance benefit on the street.

@glennbaz
What tire sizes did you get, do they have functional rim protection? (as the OE Bridgestone Potenza RFT 245/275 do not protect the OE 21" rims at all)

Based upon the reviews here, I am getting the Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires put on my 2021 Convertible next week...245/275 21". Looking forward to seeing how they perform over the OE run flats.
My just bought 2021 Convertible has the OE 245 and 275 Bridgestone Potenza RFT tires.
As these are almost exactly as wide as the OE rims they provide NO rim protection (I think these tires do not have rim protection as I do not see FR or RG indication on the tires) , the previous owner managed to kerb 3 rims
I have had cars with Michelin Pilot and Goodyear eagle which did have rim protection and that rubber protection made a big difference, protecting the rims when scrubbing a kerb.
I am considering getting tires with FR or to be really sure, getting one size wider: 255/40/21 and 285/35/21, but do not want to get a wobbly ride if these are too wide for the OE 8,5 and 9,5 rims.. anybody experience with one size wider?
Also, I am surprised that many use Michelin Pilot sport 4 (s) but nobody seems to use Pirelli Pzero tires which are also great, is there a reason for that, Pirelli not available in the US??
My '21 convertible came originally with Michelin Pilot Super Sport (PSS) run flats. The PSS is primarily a summer/warm weather tire and has been replaced by the Pilot Sport 4S. Pirelli Pzero tires are available in the US.
