Missing jack?
Does anyone know what a tool kit consists of? Mine didn’t come with a jack or wrench, just a Phillips screwdriver & tow hitch. I would think that a tool kit consists of more tools.

Vehicles delivered with run flat tires typically don't have a jack, lug wrench, inflation kit, spare tire, etc. The LC is no exception. Run flat tires are stiff enough to drive on (without damaging the rim). Recommendation is to not exceed 50 miles on a deflated run flat tire. The LC certainly doesn't need the extra weight, but you could presumably get the toolkit items from a dealer (there are cutouts under the trunk carpet for these tools). They would be useless though unless you also carry around a spare.
I think the screwdriver is there to pop off the tow hitch cover, but I'm not sure.

I actually started a thread about a spare for the run flats, then read this and looked in my truck. I have a full kit (jack, tire iron, 2 screw drivers, wheel key) under the carpet.
Ill look at the window sticker tomorrow and see if it says anything.

Been discussed in other threads. Most LCs (as well as other vehicles with run-flats) in the US seem to have not come with a jack/toolkit, although some people claim to have received these items with their LCs. Not sure what use it would be without a spare, and the car certainly doesn't need any additional weight. If you're just looking to jack it up at home, invest in a floor jack. The LC has jack-points centered both front & rear for a floor jack so one can access both front or rear tires at one time - with a floor jack. Unless you plan to carry a spare or donut in the trunk, the factory scissor-jack and toolkit wouldn't be of much use. These items are available through Lexus if you need them.

I've done a slight bit of trimming to the Styrofoam and found it a great place to keep a bottle of detailing spray and detailing tools along with the wheel lock key & fuse puller. Keeps thing neatly out of sight as I hate items stashed in the trunk unless travelling.

I remember looking in the trunk of (I hope) the one I bought. There were obvious places for hardware way in back, but no stuff. Then I lifted up the floor in front of that area and there was hardware. When I go home I'll look again. There were two red ones I looked at.
