Default 2020 lc

No splashy announcement, but the MY 2020 is out. I don't notice many changes.

https://www.lexus.com/models/LC?trim...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

Option packages are different - Convenience Package is gone. Blind Spot Monitor is now standard. Parking Assist now included with Touring and Sport Packages.

Wheels - Forged wheels now come with Sport and Performance Packages and LCh.

Torsen LSD now part of Sport and Performance Packages.

Autumn Shimmer out - Flair Yellow in.

Base Price up to $92,950.

Edit - I can't put Caps in title

Lou

Seems like they change the 20" wheel design for the base model

^^^^Don't want to get into an argument here, but you are wrong. The pictures below are from the 2018 and the 2020 brochures:

2018

2020

The 20" cast wheel standard on the base model has not changed.

And on Hybrid, the standard wheel was the base wheel up until this year, the 20" forged wheel is now standard.

I been shopping around for a while I have never seen those wheels on an LC before. That is the first time I have seen that wheel design.

The lease on my 2018 LC will end in February (which is now not that far away). I intend to buy outright either the LC I'm currently leasing or another (newer) one. I don't see any significant changes in the 2019 or 2020 models that would warrant purchasing one of those versus the 2018. Agree?

^^^^You are correct. The changes are as I outlined in Post #1. If you are happy with your current LC, I see no reason to go "newer". Your Nightfall Mica LC is gorgeous IMHO.

^^^^However, I might add that after seeing the 2021 LC Convertible, I will come out on a limb here, and say that for the 2021 LC Coupe, I expect to see some interior modifications, mainly related to the seats. Mechanically and outward appearance I don't expect to change.

I see that your local to Scottsdale. Will you be at the "F" Lexus event on 12/07?

I do worry a little about how those alcantara seats will wear long term, but I think I'll risk it. The LC isn't my only car, so I hope that factors positively into the seat durability concern.

I will miss the "F" Lexus event because I'll be out of town. Next time!

By the way, when the time does come to replace my tires, I will be seeking your sage advice on both tires and wheels.
