Default Tom's Racing - Performance Air Filters

Good news! Tom's Racing has a set of high performance drop in filters available for the LC500 now. My set arrived yesterday and I installed them and drove around 120 miles after. a bit more responsive than the stock paper filters for sure. No CEL either. You won't void your warranty with Lexus and if you have leased your LC500 it's a sweet little bang for the money to have the motor breathing better. A did a short video for those of you who are interested and who may want to do the install yourselves.

Ordered from:

Just wished you had the LC 500 on your website with products and prices. Seems odd that it's still not on your site after more than one year on the market...

My Official Butt Dyno states I gained about 7 seat hp after install LOL. To be honest if I did gain I didn't notice. I did notice that the RPM tach seemed to accelerate a bit faster and off the line it doesn't seem as much lag as before. Again could simply be a placebo effect of knowing I did something. I go on the dyno tomorrow weather permitting of course and I will update with what it does in real numbers.

Just curious, did you ever manage to get any dyno numbers after the Toms drop in RAM air filter install?

Yes it was posted on another thread. 418whp / 378 lb-ft. That was also with PPE Headers, catless mid pipe and Tom's exhaust. I and others suspected that the Dyno we ran the car on had issues or the operator was inexperienced or all the above. I'm sure it's making more.

Thanks. I'm considering whether to purchase the Boost Logic intake kit or just go ahead with the Toms drop in air filters. I know that you had some issues with CEL's popping up with Boost Logic - though some others haven't had that issue, so it's a 50/50. What would you recommend, if you don't mind giving your 2 cents please?
