Bluetooth Audio Disconnects at Random Intervals [iOS]
So I picked up my LC500 about a month ago, and I have had this problem since the day I got it. When connected to bluetooth audio, the car will lose connection for about 5-7 seconds, reconnect, then continue playing as normal. This happens at completely random intervals with no noticeable way of reproducing. During a 4 hour car drive I had a 1.5 hour period with no disconnections, and another time where the connection was lost 3 times in 10 minutes. On average, I'd say it happens 1-2 times an hour.
I mentioned this to my dealership, but they were unable to do anything due to the difficulty in reproducing the problem reliably. Their only suggestion was that there is a problem with phone names that have non-letter characters in them. Removing the apostrophe from my phone name was of no use.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? It's a minor inconvenience, but I'd still like to fix it if possible.

Mine does this too. Usually after a long phone call. I recently upgraded to the CarPlay enabled system and it is still happening. I have reset phone settings and unpaired and re-paired the phone several times but still happens. Anyone find a solution to this?
i would suggest you try resetting the entire system into default, and restarting the configuration of the phone connections again..and if you are using the USB connector make sure your Bluetooth n your phone is turned off, and also to make sure you don't have the wifi activated on the phone too.

I've had a few rare occasion system glitches with Bluetooth where the audio becomes unresponsive. Often after taking a phone call.
The head unit can be rebooted, even while driving, by pressing and holding down the power/volume **** on the center console....
That fixes it on the fly.

Anyone else?
I’ve seen this issue before. iOS devices seem to have a lot of weird connection issues with Lexus headunits. To fix it I’ve unpaired the phone from the car, rebooted the phone, and then did a fresh pair. That fixes most issues I see with iPhones in these cars.
