Bluetooth Issue ('11 RX450h)
I Have a new to me 2011 RX450h and a new Galaxy Note 9. Phone bluethooth connection easy. Audio is doing notheing. I can return the phone but I don't think that's the problem. I call Samsung, they said to call Lexus. Anyone know if there is anything lexus can adjust.
Any help is appreciated

I seem to recall having a similar problem with my '10 some years ago. I can't remember specifically what I did to fix, but from memory, some thoughts.
1) Delete your phone from BOTH the phone setup and BT audio setup, start fresh.
2) Pair as a phone, see if BT audio works just like this. If not, then try pairing as an audio device too from the BT menu.
3) Check your phone after pairing, see if the pair is requesting additional authorizations, if yes, accept. I found that this helps, but the extra access request only showed on my phone for a few seconds before disappearing.
4) If still having a problem, start fresh again and this time try pairing as BT audio device first.
As I said, I remember messing around with this stuff to get both to work, and it took a few tries in the right order to get things all good. I've successfully used a Note 4, S7, and S8+ for both phone and BT audio.

There are two different connections ... one for phone and one for music.
I have seen folks getting frustrated after making one connection, they do not get the other automatically.
